Reading with Phonics

Little ones will love learning to read with this series of 20 classic fairy tales, designed to develop the confidence of young readers.

 The books are aimed at children aged 5–7 years who have learned their letter sounds and are building their reading confidence. Each title in the series focuses on a different key sound or blend of sounds, with entertaining text that repeats these sounds frequently in highlighted red type.

 At the end of each story, activities including rhyming words, letter sounds and picture dictionaries reinforce the key sounds learned throughout the book.
